The Unispa control system can manage wellness facilities of any size – from a home sauna to a public wellness center. The solution incorporates 25 years of experience in building and managing spa and wellness facilities.
The system provides automated operation and remote management for any combination of the following elements:
- Dry and wet saunas (Finnish saunas, BIO saunas, steam cabins and inhalation rooms) – with integrated control of the sauna heater or steam generator, lighting, aroma dosing, air recirculation, ventilation and music playback
- Pools (cooling pools, whirlpools and swimming pools) – with integrated control of filtration, chemical treatment, lighting, filling, draining, heating, air blowers and jets
- Kneipp paths – with automatic filling, draining and refilling, as well as integrated control of lighting, thermostats and air blowers
- Experience features (massage showers, storm effects, tipping buckets, fountains and more)

Control module

The Unispa control module is the system’s primary execution unit. It operates as an autonomous block dedicated to a single wellness element, independently of the other parts of the system. This makes the entire wellness facility resilient to network failures and failures of individual control components.
The maximum configuration of the Unispa control unit includes:
- Wi-Fi connectivity to a dedicated computer network
- 6× normally open relay contacts (4 A at 230 V)
- 4× changeover relay contacts (6 A at 230 V)
- 8× PWM outputs (2 A, maximum 24 V)
- 8× analog inputs
- 3× digital inputs (for humidity sensors, level sensors and similar devices)
- MP3 player – audio playback from an SD card
Server

The central server integrates the individual control system modules and serves as:
- A convenient centralized access point for controlling all connected elements from one place, with the option of adding secure access from anywhere.
- A communication hub for exchanging and collecting data between the modules, server and user.
- A data center for processing and storing telemetry, providing a comprehensive overview of current and historical operation.
- An advanced automation center, for example for generating regular reports.
